Hello and welcome to the ACUI Region 15 website!

How appropriate that the theme of the 2009 ACUI Region 15 Fall Conference in San Bernardino is “The Time is Now.” With all that is happening in the world and nation, now is definitely the time to take advantage of the resources and opportunities that ACUI and Region 15 provide.  
 
The Time is Now to attend the events that ACUI and Region 15 will provide
in 2009.  In early April, hundreds of colleagues and friends from around the nation plan to visit Anaheim as our region hosts the 2009 ACUI annual conference. Then in November, many Region 15 delegates will visit the foothills of San Bernardino for the Fall Conference.
                                                     
The Time is Now to think outside the box and help enhance our current programs, and identify innovative ways to provide educational opportunities
to the region. During the spring Region 15 members will receive a survey
to help identify relevant and useful educational topics for the region.
 
The Time is Now to consider volunteering for the region.  The regional director call for nominations will reopen this October, and I encourage everyone to consider this rewarding and enriching opportunity. There are also other short-term volunteer opportunities available with the Conference Program Team, Recreation and Leisure Weekend, and as presenters of educational sessions. This spring there also is the added opportunity to volunteer on site at the annual conference in Anaheim!
  
Region 15 has a long history of providing leadership to ACUI. Our region
has numerous past and present ACUI leadership team members, Butts-Whiting Award recipients, and even a few past presidents of ACUI!  I’m confident that our region’s tradition of being a leader in advancing campus community builders will continue.
