Introduction

Are you a new member of the Association of College Unions International (ACUI)? Or perhaps your institution has been a member of ACUI but this is your first conference. Whatever the reason, if this is your first ACUI conference then we want to give you an especially warm welcome. As members of ACUI, our goal is for you to get connected to others and have a wonderful Fall Conference experience. Following is some insider information just for you.

Conference Dress

Most of the conference is casual. The closing awards banquet is the exception. Most conference delegates dress business casual to formal for this ending event.  Don’t forget to bring a jacket as the hotel and university meeting space may be cool.

Who Attends?

One of the best features of the Region 15 Fall Conference is the diversity represented within the delegation. Participants are students and staff from colleges and universities throughout California, Nevada, and Hawaii– two year colleges, four year colleges and universities, private and public schools. The students and staff work in all areas of student unions and student activities – programming, graphic design, custodial, event scheduling and management, administration, governing boards, maintenance, recreation and more. All delegates come together with a common purpose of building leadership and management skills to build stronger campus communities.
