Student and professional graphic designers working in college unions are encouraged to enter in Steal this Idea, a competition that recognizes the best work based on concept, design, content, and creativity.

2017 Best in Show Announced at The Honors

Congratulations to Steven Meehin and Stephanie Embry, University of North Texas, on receiving the 2017 Steal this Idea Best in Show. In his entry, Meehin said, "In our new union, we have these interactive music listening stations to honor our world renowned music program. Utilizing our digital signage network, we created these fully interactive custom layouts to allow users to sort through a variety of songs from UNT's music archives. We have categorical filters and information that populates when a song is selected. Each genre has it's own page with its own unique design. Attached is the home page and a few examples of each tab. The design utilized some original sketches and archived photos from our library."
