Student Union Showcase
May 19, University of Tennessee–Knoxville

The Student Union at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville will be welcoming participants to the one-day student union showcase. The Student Union project is the largest construction project in the history of the university. A two-phase construction project began in March 2012, and when completed, it will measure approximately 390,000 square feet.

Through concurrent information sessions over three time slots, this showcase highlights operations and programming in transitional spaces, lessons learned, and incorporation of branding standards. Presenters include representatives from the contractor, architectural firms, and university communications. Attendees will be able to tour four transitional facility spaces; Phase I, which opened in June 2015; and a four directional sidewalk tour of Phase II.
